PROTEIN SHAKE

I have been making this shake for breakfast at least 3 times a week for the past two years. I don't have time to eat at home before work or getting the runts off to daycare, so this is a great option for those who eat on the go. It's beyond easy and tastes really good. I swear, you don't even TASTE the kale.  

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 banana
  • 1 large handful of frozen berries (I like the Triple Berry Mix from Costco – you can also use fresh berries)
  • 1 large handful of kale/spinach (something green) 
  • 1 scoop protein powder
  • ½ cup milk (can also use almond/cashew milk) 
  • A couple ice cubes (if using fresh fruit, you may need a few more ice cubes to keep it extra cold) 

INSTRUCTIONS:

Put all ingredients in a blender. (We use the NINJA BLEND mixer)

Mix until well blended. (approx. 30 seconds)
